Madison Takes First Place
Can I just say that I’m so proud of Madison my daugher!!! She took first place in her grade for the art show at John Wayne Airport. I think she should have gotten first place for the whole deal because her painting was the most original out of all the artists showing. Plus… it had a 3-D effect that was really interesting. Madison said she painted it that way. Roxie and I didn’t even know that she had entered the contest until we received a letter of invitation. She takes after her mom. Roxie is a sketch artist as well. She loves to do pencil sketches… Anyhow, the contest was part of the art program at her school!!! We could really use a graphic artist in the family!!!
